After reading lots of threads about running games in English on Wii U (JPN), I simply couldn't find out how to fix many problematic games that refuse to work or to set the desired language. But by gathering information about other, similar problems, I managed to fix some games (and I will be trying to fix more, so I'll update this first post as long as I make new discoveries).
