CUPS issues on RPi3B

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hello,

I need help with my install of CUPS on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. I followed a proper tutorial.

My problem is that the web interface seems to lag to the point it is unusable at times.

I can navigate the webUI without issue and all of a sudden it takes over 30s to load any tab from CUPS. But after that, again I can use it flawlessly for few seconds.

I tried my install on both 32b and 64b edition of the Raspberry Pi OS, as well as the latest version of DietPi.

The Pi has a fixed IP obtained from my router and is powered with an official power supply. Everything else works fine, but CUPS is driving me nuts.

Maybe there is a process that should be disabled, or some sort of power management issue?

I did my research but could not find anything close to my problem.

Any one has had a similar experience?
