Headless Horseman Problems

I've been running a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Kali Linux distro. I setup ssh using key generator between machines and can VNC from there once ssh'd into the pi. This has been running flawless for 2 months or so. Tonight I couldn't manage to ssh into the system at all. I connected a screen and couldn't figure out the problem..

So my question is: Is it unreasonable to just wipe my SD card and do a clean install? I mean practice makes perfect right?
