First time playing tactics ogre!

I LOVE Ogre battle 64, ive done many play throughs but never had another similar game to try. So excited to play this on SNES!

Anyone have any non-spoiler tips for me? Just general "never do this" or "this is his this works and its not intuitive" kind of things?
