cant recognize NTFS after the Project Eris mod

What I did was formated my drive to FAT32 and put the Project Eris files on it.

Then I plugged it into slot 2 and powered on. It created the backup file and modded the PS.

Then I reformated the drive to NTFS, plugged it back to slot 2 and the PS boots up with the default setup, no Project Eris menu. Shouldnt the PS recognize NTFS after the Project Eris install?
