Arcade cabinet vs console

There is this second hand shop in taipei that has the neo geo cd, pocket and I think AES but pocket is around 4000 ntd or 120 dollars and cd is probably 8000 ntd. Should I get any of the handheld/console mentioned above or do I just buy an arcade cabinet and fill it up with roms. *I do realize the pocket is really cheap but I would love your insights.
