The battle of the trilogies - Which one is your favorite?

There are not as many trilogies here as on the NES and Genesis, but there are some very strong ones.
A few of these games weren't originally released in the West, but since they are all available now as imports or through emulation, I think they could be considered as a whole.
There are also other trilogies I could have included, but I feel like these were the best ones to choose, since there can't be more than 6 options. Also some series, like Bomberman and The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, have more than three mainline games.
