Understanding where text at login comes from

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I'm running raspbian lite on a rpi, and upon ssh login I'm greeted with the text:
Linux 5.4.72-v7+ #1356 SMP Thu Oct 22 13:56:54 BST 2020 armv7l Last login: Sun Nov 6 20:45:14 2022 from root@:~# Motd is easy to find, and I can modify that or add to this with ~/.bashrc or with /etc/bash.bashrc
I don't understand where the lines just before/after the motd come from though? Where can I see and/or modify the code for those two lines?
