Real Bout Fatal Fury or Real Bout Fatal Fury Special?

I’ve played Fatal Fury Special on the Switch (fully aware that it is different from these two games btw), and I’m considering getting one of the Real Bout games since they seem like an interesting evolution of the Fatal Fury gameplay formula with the ringouts and three lane system, but I don’t know which version to get as I don’t know the differences between the two.
