Upgrade from first Gen one to series X worth it?

[Released: 2013] Moving away from its predecessor's PowerPC-based architecture, the Xbox One marks a shift back to the x86 architecture used in the original Xbox; it features an AMD Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) built around the x86-64 instruction set.

Upgrade from first Gen one to series X worth it?

Post by /xboxone »

Hello!
I've got a first gen Xbox one HDD. With the black Friday deals starting to roll around I was wondering if it was worth the upgrade from the base one to the series X. Wait times on my One haven't ever been noticeably long and I don't really play any competitive shooters (CoD/Apex/R6S) anymore, and I do have a gaming PC. I typically use the consoles for exclusives, but I haven't found anything on the series X I wouldn't be able to play on my PC, so I'm having a really hard time justifying $500 for faster load times I may/may not notice.
