Playstation classic just blew up in my hands

I bought a brand new Playstation classic, it arrived today.
I plugged in my TV with the USB on the TV's USB and it showed the red LED a few times.
After searching on interned tried other adapters, but none worked.
Tried to try with my PC to check if at least could detect the device or something.
Just as I'm plugging in the USB a pop sound came from inside, and smoke started to come out of it.
The USB port seems ok but smells like burnt chip inside.
I'm glad it didn't burn my PC too, what a piece of junk...
