What's your "Dream Setup" to play PSX?

[Released: 1994] Sony entered into an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment, for the Super Nintendo. Due to contractual problems it was never released, and instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony called the PlayStation.

What's your "Dream Setup" to play PSX?

I grew up with a psx (and other old systems) and like many people sold all my game stuff years ago and regret it. So I'm thinking of buying a console and doing a modern "dream setup" of it. But I'm trying to figure out ways to mod it (both hardware like SD card readers, capacitators, etc. to "future proof" it and aesthetic things like specific controllers and console shell). I could use some inspiration:
