psp2000 keeps randomly turning on ??

extremely confused, bought my psp more than a month ago and it didn’t have this problem. about a week ago, it started randomly turning on even if its in its case or laying unbothered on a surface. because of this, the battery is often drained and i have to keep it plugged for any prolonged use. complete noob on this stuff and really dont know what to do :(((
