Home Xbox Question

Hello all, Would I lose any functionality if I didn’t have my Xbox set as my Home Xbox? I’m thinking of setting my beach house’s Xbox as my home Xbox so that when family are using the house they can log in with a guest account and play anything in my library. I wanted to check first with people here who may know more about this stuff, if doing so would cause me to lose access to being able to do stuff on my everyday Xbox at my main home?
