Best way to trim shell & paint buttons?

Best way to trim shell & paint buttons?

Just got a white AGB today. I wanna know what’s the best way to clean up the shell as nice as possible, trim it for the FunnyPlaying V2 IPS screen (and also the HDMI-out and Dock mods), and prepare the buttons for painting (just want to paint them black).
I know it’s probably better to use an aftermarket shell & buttons but this OEM shell has the color I want, and honestly I don’t want to wait for them to arrive as I’m sure painting the buttons the color I want is much easier plus I’d be saving myself $20-25.
Any tips would be appreciated, thank you!
