PS Classic with Project Eris just boots into stock menu

I already played a few games that I put on my USB stick before and it worked totally fine. After reading a bit about other emulation and stuff I put the cores and a few games on it. After turning the Classic on, it just booted into the stock menu with the 20 games and if I try to turn it off it, just starts to boot up. I'm using a OTG Hub from AuviPal (one I've seen in a few videos and even the amazon reviews said it works well with the Classic) and the 8Bitdo adapter for the classic so I can use my PS4 controller.
Again, everything worked fine yesterday. Just because I put a new PSX game (Persona 2: Innocent Sin if that matters) on it stopped working.
When I took a look into the log files (made 2 Backups. The very first one right after the successfull install and a 2nd one conveniently after everything stopped it said this:

Everything else was either empty or didnt have any errors in it.
Does anybody know how to help?
Edit1:
Also tried with different power adapters/usb cables, since I read about some power issues with the USB stick etc. still, nothing changed
