What does MVS convert mean exactly? I was looking up AES games on ebay and a lot of Japanese Neo Geo AES games say this?

What does MVS convert mean exactly? I was looking up AES games on ebay and a lot of Japanese Neo Geo AES games say this?

I dunno if this is a dumb question, but is it still the original cart for the AES system? Or did someone take a cartridge and put a rom of the game into it? If it is a rom they are asking a lot of money for them. Does the MVS convert simply just mean its a port of a MVS game onto the AES, if it does then why not just label the ebay listing as AES?
