I’m trying to update Minecraft

Minecraft is being really weird as it’s only updating when the Xbox is off or something else is updating and it’s been on 98.6% for like 2 hours
I’ve turned off automatic updates and have restarted and turned off the Xbox countless times and it won’t work. Any ideas?
