Wireless controller won't turn on

[Released: 2005] As the second console from Microsoft, the XBOX 360 completely sold out upon release in all regions except in Japan. About 33% of all consoles became defective making it the most unreliable console ever created.

Wireless controller won't turn on

So, the controller wasn't used thought out summer very much and so now I thought I could play some Richard Burns rally, but the controller won't start. The battery's are charged, I disassembled the controller to clean it up, but still, it won't start, not even the Xbox logo shows any light or signs of life when pressed. Could anyone help me with this problem?
