Can Swiss handle saved games from physical cartridges?

Post by /gamecube »

Hello! I have a Gamecube with a Game Boy Player. I am about to jump into soft modding through SD Media Launcher, SD2SP2 and Swiss. But I already have a question.
I have several Game Boy games with broken save batteries. I know I can replace those with aftermarket parts and a soldering iron, but I would much rather not but use a software solution. I have noticed that games do save, as long as the cartridge stays connected to power. After resetting the GB Player the saves are gone. Can I somehow use Swiss to backup - and load - the saved files to and from physical cartridges as I please?
