Thoughts on the Master System port of Rampart?

Gameplay and graphics wise, I think it's a solid port but there's one odd thing about it: the lack of music.
I get that the sound chip wasn't going to recreate the music from the arcade perfectly, but it feels like I'm almost playing Silent Rampart. There's the little jingle that plays after you finish building your fortifications around the castle but that's it.
