I bought an OG Xbox console and it said XECUTER2 on the bottom and it has some problems

I bought an OG Xbox a few hours ago and when I got home to test it said XECUTER2 on the bottom and whenever I tried to put a disk inside it would say that it can't read the disk, is the console broken? or is there a way to fix it (the store I purchased it from has a positive reputation so if it's broken I can return it because it has a 3-month warranty)
