Street Fighter 2 Special Ending

[Released: 1990] The SNES was the best-selling console of the 16-bit era despite its relatively late start and the fierce competition it faced. The console was able to run some of the first three-dimensional video games on consoles, beginning with Star Fox.

Can anyone else confirm this?
When this came out on SNES I spent probably a year trying to beat the game on the hardest difficulty without losing, AND without being touched at all. That means no blocking either. Eventually I did it with Ryu and the ending had all the characters standing together in front of a red screen and chun li says "ya tai". That's it.
