Who’s old enough to remember how incredibly Wave Race 64 was when it came out?

[Released: 1996] The console's design was revealed to the public for the first time in late Spring 1994. The N64 console was frequently marketed as the world's first 64-bit gaming system and sold 500,000 units in North America during its first four months.

Image I remember getting this game the day it came out when I was 12. I think it was just a few months after the n64 launched and I remember how I felt playing it the first time…blown away. I had a PlayStation first and then got an n64 on day 1 with Mario 64 and Pilotwings but Wave Race just struck me a certain way. Couldn’t believe what it was seeing on my TV and then the music just fit so perfectly. Such a great memory.
