usb chip reader

Hi everyone. I just wanted to ask if there are any easy ways to replace my USB chip reader in my PS mini as I think I've blown it . I recently downloaded some software and loads of games onto my PS mini I think this may have caused it to blow. Any help would be really appreciated. I'm gutted its broken as I had just started getting into a few of the classics I recently installed ?
