PCSX Rearmed in active developement again after years?

PCSX Rearmed in active developement again after years?

After being away from the PSX emulation scene for a while, I just decided to check for news and updates and I noticed there's a new PCSX Rearmed version available. Does it mean there will be future updates?
Also does anybody know if the latest version fixes known compatibility issues and/or graphic glitches?
