Rpi Mod. B Rev2 as Wifi extender not working

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I converted my old Model B Rev2 Rpi to a WiFi extender using 2 Wifi dongles from TP-Link (T2U AC600 nano). I used this tutorial to set up everything with systemd-networkd.
https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/q ... ifi-dongle
Both dongles seem to work, internet works without ethernet and I can SSH into them.
But for some reason my devices won't connect to the Rpi when in range (it's in a corner of my apartment where the Wifi signal only get's 20 Mbps max mostly far less.) Doing a speedtest the Rpi Wifi extender reaches around 30-40 Mbps download on its own.
What can I do to check if I configured everything correctly? I'm a noob I basically still copy paste commands from tutorials so please bear with me.
Thanks
