Thumbnails not shown despite correct .db entries

Hi friends,
I have recently added more games to my PS classic - unfortunately, the thumbnails of the newly added games are not shown in Retroarch despite the facts that:

1. I have named the pictures exactly as the game names (the pictures are in the respective games folders and additionally in project_eris\opt\retroarch\config\retroarch\thumbnails\PlayStation Classic - External (and *_Snaps and *_Titles) (for all games that were on the PS class before, the thumbnails are shown)
2. the entries in the .db (project_eris\etc\project_eris\SYS\databases) have been updated via the Project Eris UI Tool

Any idea what might have gone wrong?
