Project Eris + 8Bitdo Bluetooth + multiple controllers

Got Eris working well. Got an 8Bitdo Bluetooth adapter. Works fine with one controller.
But I don't know how to make it work with two controllers at the same time (if possible).
I pair one controller, everything works fine. When I try to pair another controller the first one gets lost, need to re-pair it, etc. To pair a second I one I press the pairing button on the BT adapter.
The controllers I'm trying it with are: 8Bitdo Pro2 and a Dualshock.
Appreciate any advice.
