Any OS/distros/tweaks good for use with CRT?

Any OS/distros/tweaks good for use with CRT?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Raspbian works ok but isnt really optimized for low resolution CRTs/screens. System text and system bar can be reduced, but then, for example, opening Chromium results in the top portion of chromium taking up way too much space. I also tried to use LibreElec but even then still kodi settings result in weird positioning of on screen menus just didn't feel most optimized. Back in the day, STBs for Cable TV providers had decent UIs which has me wondering if there are any particular setups or tweaks that work best when using any rPi device with a CRT?
