I just did a fresh install of Raspberry Pi OS Lite from the April image and logged in to apt update/upgrade. The upgrade vomited out all the new packages below which seem to be related to X11. I'm running headless and don't need a window manager. I tried figuring out dependencies with apt-cache rdepends but that's a maze. Does anyone know offhand why the current stock Lite distro is configured this way, and how to get around it?
