Headphone jack problems

[Released: 1988] The Sega Genesis was Sega's most successful console; though Sega has never released a total sales figure quote. Several add-ons were created including the Sega CD and Sega 32X which extended its capabilities.

Headphone jack problems

I have a problem with my Genesis 1’s headphone jack. When I’m listening to it on a lower volume, the audio is VERY crackly. The crackling goes away as you raise the volume slider, but then the audio gets too loud to listen to. Is there a way to fix the crackling?
