Rpi emulation on wintel?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I’ve downloaded the latest qemu, Rpi kernel, and full disk image but can’t seem to get the command line right to boot on a well-spec’d Windows 11 machine. At this stage, either it complains Disk 0 already exists or it boots but the virtual box video is blank, being not initialised.
So I’d like to ask those who are successfully doing this, what is your command line? Can you please show me an example of a working qemu Rpi on wintel invocation?
Alternately, what VM software do you use for the best experience?
