USB ports on my PSC stopped working

I hadnt used it since around the time it came out, but was thinking about playing some Mega Man on it. I had used BleemSync with it when i did use it with a SanDisk Cruiser, and it worked fine. Now it powers on, but neither of the front USB ports work, it gets really hot really fast. I was powering it via my TV, which worked before. I tested the USB ports with a multimeter and theyre both showing 0 volts. Is there any way to fix this?
