RPi 400 with Kali Linux

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a raspberry pi 400 and installed kali linux on it as a simple computer to test scripts on and stuff. I am trying to install a VPN application on it (Windscribe) and have downloaded the debian file associated, which is a armhf file since this is going on a raspberry device.

However upon trying to install the package through terminal, I receive this error:

(Reading database ... 363180 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack windscribe-cli_1.4-51_armhf.deb ...
Unpacking windscribe-cli:armhf (1.4-51) over (1.4-51) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of windscribe-cli:armhf:
windscribe-cli:armhf depends on openvpn.
windscribe-cli:armhf depends on resolvconf.

dpkg: error processing package windscribe-cli:armhf (--install):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Processing triggers for kali-menu (2022.2.0) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
windscribe-cli:armhf

Please let me know what I have to do in order to be able to install the windscribe client. I should also mention that while raspberry is an ARM device, the newer ones are arm64 and armhf is old, but as far as I could tell on google the arm64 devices can install armhf given the right procedure. Thank you for any advice and help
