Atari partners with Cariuma for 50th Anniversary Sneaker Collection
Atari is collaborating with sustainable footwear brand Cariuma on a special 50th Anniversary sneaker collection that launches today, March 24.
The collection of five designs spans two of Cariuma’s most popular styles: the OCA Low ($89 USD) and Caitba Pro ($98 USD). In celebration of Atari’s 50th Anniversary, the Caiba Pro features a pixelated Cariuma logo on one side, and the iconic Atari Fuji logo on the other. The OCA Low has the Atari logo and the words “Game On.â€
Channeling both brands, the designs are designed for the future, crafted with care, imaginative and have a timeless aesthetic. The sneakers are crafted from premium materials like GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas, natural rubber, recycled plastics, and lightweight cork + mamona oil insoles.
For every pair of Cariuma sneakers purchased, the brand will plant a pair of trees in the Brazilian Rainforest, the lungs of the world, to directly aid reforestation and the preservation of our endangered species’ natural habitat through our own reforestation program.
