Controller support..

Hey, guys. If I wanted to use one of my legit PS1 or PS2 controllers on my PlayStation Classic, is there some sort of adapter I could use? If so, would it be surported? Someone mentioned possibly using a "PS2 controller to USB" adapter of some sorts. Any thoughts? I could use a Bluetooth one, but I already have 4 or 5 spare PS1/PS2 controllers laying around
