Flashing custom kernel.

Post by /classicNES »

Hey guys —
a few years back I got a SNES Classic and have had no problems with it. i got a NES Classic the other day (that is allegedly new) and had zero issues with initially installing games. unfortunately, in all the games i adde, i noticed quite a few games are repeats/duplicates. i went back onto my computer to get rid of the duplicates, but when i try to flash the custom kernel/when it attempts to dump, i get an error: “Could not find file ‘C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Temp\hakchi-temp\kernel\initramfs\key-file’.â€￾
would this be because i didn’t flash my kernel first (i swear i did), or for some other reason? should i factory reset and start over, or am i missing something else stupid? thanks.
(additionally, do i need to be connected to the internet to use hakchi? i would imagine i don’t)
