Project Eris Setup FAIL [help!]

Hey there. I;m not new to the PSC stuff, I used to use Bleemsync in the past, but I sold that PSC in 2019, today I picked up a new one and am trying to get this P-eris to load.
I bagged a 64GB usb [Transmemory XIOXIA 64GB] and tried to load it, It boots then shuts of a few seconds later
Now I'm hearing it needs to be smaller due to power related issues
So I tried a 16GB [Same brand], same issue.

What the fuQ am I doing wrong? Do I need to go smaller in size, does the brand of usb make a difference? I just don't wanna step back out just spend more money on something that wont work.
The setup shouldn't be this complicated........any USB suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
