If I want to update the mod to a newer version / software, there is some sort of procedure to follow or just erase the content of autobleem and copy over some new mod?

Coming back from a long time
I recall I modded my ps classic with an old version of autobleem, then I had to wipe my usb stick (but backupped the content on my pc) and I shelved my classic since then. If I want to fire it back, can I just copy back the files on the stick and turn it on?
