official Sega scart cable - RGB or not?

[Released: 1998] Born out of Sega's darkest hour to decide whether the company stays in the hardware business. Even though it didn't officially last long in the US, it was continued selling in Japan and spawned some great 2D Japanese shooters.

official Sega scart cable - RGB or not?

The black scart cable that came bundled with the Dreamcast in europe - is it an RGB cable or just a composite to scart? Not all of the pins are used in the bit that plugs into the TV, in fact only 9 pins are present. I swear I get a better picture from this scart cable than from my cheapish vga cable.
