New to the MS, how do I get started?

Hi there, I have just ordered a Power Base Converter for my Genesis. I don’t know if that’s the “trueâ€￾ way to play MS games but it’s cheaper and saves more space than buying a Master System. Anyways, what games should I pick up for starters (must have MS games on a budget)?
