Friendly Discussion: Is There Anyone Here Who Prefers the Newer Mario Party Format Over the Classic Ones?

No judgement to those who do, but I have yet to meet anyone who prefers the whole "team based" "less mini games" format that the newer Mario Party releases offer.
However I'm sure there must be an audience who do or they wouldn't keep making them this way. Are any of them here? I'm curious to why what makes you prefer it, again no judgement.
I personal think the new format would get a lot less backlash if a classic board mode were also included. The developers are saying basically "This is Mario Party now deal with with" by excluding it.
