Clear Case On Hylian Shield 2DS XL?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Clear Case On Hylian Shield 2DS XL?

I am going to get the Hylian Shield 2DS XL eventually. So I really want a clear case so whenever I would drop it The design wouldn't chip off or be ruined or anything like that. But the design kind of sticks out and I was wondering if the clear case woul stick onto it? If not is there any solutions that would also work?
