TurboGrafx USA Complete Box Art (TurboChip & CD) Update

The HuCard is a ROM cartridge in the form of a card, designed for NEC's PC-Engine and PC Engine SuperGrafx video game consoles, which premiered in 1987 and 1989, respectively. In the United States, where marketed as the TurboGrafx-16, the HuCard is alternately called the TurboChip.

TurboGrafx USA Complete Box Art (TurboChip & CD) Update

Post by /turboG16 »

I recently went through and cleaned up the entire collection, attempting to fix any errors of accuracy compared to native box art. I know the resolution is a bit lacking for these images, but I needed a fixed resolution in order to maintain consistency among the images. As you all know, a lot of these games are extremely rare and difficult to track down high resolution images of box scans. Luckily, classic consoles only run at 720p resolution and these images are supersampled down like 3x anyway.
Since we don't know when the TG-16 mini will be hacked in order to add images to added games, I ended up using these on my NES Classic (pretty much same controller layout) and they look and play nice.
Check it out (the camera seemed to change some color from blue to purple but it looks normal in real life)

I also have been working on the complete PC-Engine collection as well, only about half done:
