Ultra HDMI Mod Help Needed

So I finally bought one. Been eyeing one for a while. Got one pre-installed on eBay. Plug her in and it worked for about 6 hours. Now, when I turn it on, I get audio fine but the video is either a jumbled mess of colors, or a solid color (blue, green, etc). I can still bring up the dash though, which confuses me but so does my shadow so maybe that’s normal? If it’s outputting the dash fine through the mini HDMI why is the actual game a jarbled mess?
Anyway I run the self test and 9 times out of 10 it says everything is good. Then I run it that 10th time and it says any number of things from “5 issues found. Pin 8 shorted to adjacent pin 9â€￾ to “Pin 17 stuck lowâ€￾. I have tested it on multiple TV’s. Same issues every time.
So basically I just want to make sure that this can’t be caused by a faulty mini HDMI cable and this is indeed a faulty unit that I should return ASAP. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. My window to return the thing via Ebays buyer protection is closing and it seems every single mini hdmi cable within a 100 mile radius of me is sold out, and Amazon is back ordered. So I can’t find another to test, which is extremely frustrating.
