With all the decompilation effort, do we finally know the odds for the Mario Party 2 minigame A Day at the Races?

[Released: 1996] The console's design was revealed to the public for the first time in late Spring 1994. The N64 console was frequently marketed as the world's first 64-bit gaming system and sold 500,000 units in North America during its first four months.

I found this ressource. I had no idea there was an animation telling us if the racer will be fast or slow! Would it be possible to decompile and know the exact probabilities? The dude simulated 12,557 races for his stats!
He also mentions RNG values might not be uniformly distributed, and for this reason his statistics coming for the bruteforce might be a better representation of reality. Wouldn't sampling directly the RNG distribution be way faster then? Does anyone have information on how the N64 produces RNG?
Thanks!
