208 in 1 for New 3DS Help

I recently bought a 208 in 1 for my 3DS to play DS games I haven't played before. When I turn on my 3DS and put the card in it displays as "SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis THQ." When I run it, all that appears is a completely black screen. I've tried regular game cards and downloaded games and they work fine. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue? Please let me know, thanks in advance!
