[Released: 1988] The CD-ROM² is an add-on attachment that allows the core versions of the console to play PC Engine games in CD-ROM format in addition to standard HuCards. This made the PC Engine the first video game console to use CD-ROMs as a storage media.

How to tell a repro TurboCD/PCECD game disc

Hello. I have been seeing a lot of PCR works games online and am wondering how to tell if I buy one of those instead of original? It seems that the cases are identical. Im worried that I may unknowingly buy a repro disc. Thanks for the help.
