Whats the difference between the software the 3ds uses compared to the switch?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Hey,
I am planning on using my 3ds again for the first time in ages to play Bravely Default and I was wondering what the difference is between the ssoftware the 3ds uses and what the switch uses because I honestly cant remember. Can I just get the game on the eshop?
